If you’ll be in the Los Angeles area on this Saturday, June 27th, my friends at The People’s Shoe invite you to come down to the LA Mission to help out with the first ever Just For Kicks event at San Julian Park from 2-5PM.
I’ll be there covering the story for LA2DAY and helping out however I can.
All donations of non-perishable food items and clothing will be greatly appreciated.
The purpose for the event is to bring some joy and relief to the homeless of skid row on a hot summer day. There will be live music, free food, medical attention, side-walk-chalk-art, haircuts, and of course, The People’s Shoe will be donating a bunch of shoes!

Blossom Restaurant and Pitfire Pizza (both local downtown LA restaurants) have already pledged to donating food that will feed about 400 people !!
